Final dissemination event in Portugal

On November 26th, the Portuguese Confederation of Volunteering organised the final dissemination event of the eVA-VOL project. During the event, the participants learnt about the project, the Erasmus+ programme, and were introduced to the use and potential applications of the eVA-VOL online platform.

A survey was carried out at the end of the event and results showed that a 14.3% of the participants will use the eVA-VOL online platform for their own training, a 41.1% to train others and a 44.6% as an inspiration to develop training courses, projects, policies, etc. Furthermore, the 89.3% of the attendees would recommend others to use the eVA-VOL online platform.






Final dissemination event in Italy

On October 28th, CSV Lazio organised the final dissemination event of the eVA-VOL project. During the event, the participants learnt about the project, the Erasmus+ programme, and were introduced to the use and potential applications of the eVA-VOL online platform.

A survey was carried out at the end of the event and results showed that a 68.4% of the participants will use the eVA-VOL online platform for their own training, a 24.5% to train others and a 30.6% as an inspiration to develop training courses, projects, policies, etc. Furthermore, the 75.5% of the attendees would recommend others to use the eVA-VOL online platform.






Final dissemination events in Spain

On October 16th and 20th, Plataforma de Voluntariado de España organised the final dissemination events of the eVA-VOL project. During the events, the participants learnt about the project, the Erasmus+ programme, and were introduced to the use and potential applications of the eVA-VOL online platform.

A survey was carried out at the end of the events and results showed that a 26.75% of the participants will use the eVA-VOL online platform for their own training, a 44.4% to train others and a 55.6% as an inspiration to develop training courses, projects, policies, etc. Furthermore, the 80% of the attendees would recommend others to use the eVA-VOL online platform.





Final dissemination events in Ireland

On September 28th and November 27th, Meath Partnership and CIT organised the final dissemination events of the eVA-VOL project. During the events, the participants learnt about the project, the Erasmus+ programme, and were introduced to the use and potential applications of the eVA-VOL online platform.

A survey was carried out at the end of the event and results showed that a 66.7% of the participants will use the eVA-VOL online platform to train others and a 33.3% as an inspiration to develop training courses, projects, policies, etc. Furthermore, the 66.7% of the attendees would recommend others to use the eVA-VOL online platform.





Developers and Testers met in Brussels

From 2nd to 6th March, the volunteers from four countries who have been testing the eVA-VOL platform since last summer met with the platform developers in Brussels.

During the first three days, the volunteers from Ireland, Italy, Portugal and Spain presented the results of using the eVA-VOL platform to validate their learning from volunteering as part of an official qualification.

The fourth day, the volunteers make proposals for the improvement of the eVA-VOL platform and the developers expressed their commitment to implement all of them.

The fifth day, the developers agreed on the schedule and distribution of tasks for the implementation of all the improvements suggested by the volunteers. According to this, the new improved eVA-VOL platform will be published in September this year.

Thanks to these days in Brussels that developers and testers have been working together, the final version of the eVA-VOL platform will surely be more effective for those seeking validation for their learning from volunteering. Thus, improving the transferability of the learning from volunteering to formal education.








Second transnational meeting of the eVA-VOL project

On 12th and 13th June, the five partner organisations of the eVA-VOL project met in Lisbon (Portugal) for their second transnational meeting.

The delegates from the five partner organisations used this second project meeting to evaluate the current development of the online platform and to prepare for the next project activity: the testing of the online platform with volunteers, voluntary organisations and universities from four countries (Spain, Italy, Portugal and Ireland).






Kickoff of the eVA-VOL project

From 10th to 12th January, the five partner organisations of the eVA-VOL project met in Madrid (Spain) for their first transnational meeting.

The delegates from the five partner organisations used this first project meeting to set strong foundations for the work of the partnership. In particular, they worked on the development of the content for the online platform. The next step will be to finalise the development of the online content before the second project meeting in Lisbon (Portugal) planned for May 2019. During the meeting in Lisbon, the delegates from the partner organisations will prepare for the next project activity, the testing of the online platform with volunteers from Spain, Italy Portugal and Ireland.
